Your are now looking through a little window which just happens to be pointed toward our farm Solid Ground. We are a Christian homesteading family, which to us, means we grow  most of our food, we have a good reason for doing it, we enjoy what we do, we enjoy sharing what we have learned from what we do and hope to support ourselves through some of the products and services we produce on the farm. Somewhere here on this site you should be eventually able to find answers to our reasoning.

The website is still kinda under construction, but our farm has been operating since 2008. Keep checking back for updates, but as you can guess, farm chores take priority.

 

Anyway, come meet us, join us Saturday April 22nd between 10am and 4pm as we are participating in the Broome County Open Farm Day! See the cows graze, the chickens cluck, the baby pigs squeal and the baby chicks peep. The coffeehouse will be open for coffee, tea, desserts and a place to sit. We are praying for a nice warm rain-free day!
